Our commitment
We want every resident and visitor to be able to find information, pay bills and take part in local government, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Standards
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Minnesota accessibility requirements. We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers and automated tools.
Accessibility features
- A text-size control and high-contrast colors throughout the site;
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators;
- Descriptive page titles, headings and link text;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images;
- Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets and zoomed screens.
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents and third-party content, such as embedded maps and the payment portal, may not be fully accessible. We are remediating older documents and will provide any document in an accessible format on request.
Facilities & meetings
Town Hall and all public meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening devices, sign language interpreters and other accommodations for public meetings are available with 72 hours’ notice.
